Special Visitors - John & Sandi Seaman
In April, we had Michelle and Bill McDonough visiting us from Sussex England. Michelle is the daughter of former Healey Challenge Racer Dave Hardy. When Dave raced his Healey at Rockford IL at Conclave 1990, and at Road America August 22, 1990, Dave and his family of wife Jan, son Neal, and daughters Michelle and Danielle spent a week with us. We kept up correspondence with Jan after Dave passed away from a racing incident. Bill and Michelle run Hardy Engineering, which rebuilds transmissions for many exotic and collector cars in Sussex England, and were visiting Danielle in Chicago, where she is working, and took a couple day trip to Door County. I said I would re-edit my video of the 1990 Healey Challenge races and put it on YouTube. I have competed the video and it is now on my YouTube channel. <<1990 Healey Challenge races>>

& Extended Vacation in Long Lake NY

Story and photos by John and Sandi Seaman - Wisconsin AH Club.

Sandi and I decided we would combine our trip to Enclave with another week's vacation in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. We had made several long road trips in our 1962 Austin Healey 3000 MK II Tricarb before, (Burlington VT. in 2007, Hot Springs VA in 2014, and Louisville KY in 2012), so we knew what to expect. In the week prior to departure, John checked and rechecked all the mechanical components, and all the fluids. The boot was filled with spare ignition parts, spare spark plugs, several fan belts, top and bottom radiator hoses, spare hose clamps, emergency lights, 4 quarts of oil, a scissors jack, jack stands, toolbox full of tools, a pad to lie on in case of repairs, and our cameras and other stuff that needed to be secure. <<Read Full Article>>
